The Lotus Eletre electric SUV features an array of advanced safety features including a deployable LiDAR system and an advanced autonomous driving system. The company is building the Eletre in a Geely-owned factory in Wuhang, China. The car comes with a five-year warranty and will be competitive with the Porsche Cayenne. The Eletre is also expected to have self-parking capabilities and 5G connectivity. Lotus says it is developing the technology to enable the car to drive itself, but it’s not yet clear how this will actually work.

The Eletre SUV is offered in three trim levels. The Eletre base trim offers 603 horsepower and 520 lb-ft of torque. The Eletre S model features configurable ambient lighting and soft-close doors.
