Lotus Eletre Electric SUV

The Lotus Eletre electric SUV features an array of advanced safety features including a deployable LiDAR system and an advanced autonomous driving system. It is also the first global SUV with 800V architecture and provides exceptional range and charging options. The Eletre is expected to be sold in China, Europe, the US and Australia, but the brand has not revealed pricing or availability information.

The company is building the Eletre in a Geely-owned factory in Wuhang, China. The car comes with a five-year warranty and will be competitive with the Porsche Cayenne. The Eletre is also expected to have self-parking capabilities and 5G connectivity. Lotus says it is developing the technology to enable the car to drive itself, but it’s not yet clear how this will actually work.

The Lotus Eletre is a large electric SUV that is based on Lotus’ new Electric Premium Architecture platform. It has a range of approximately 373 miles based on the WLTP testing cycle, with a maximum of 600 horsepower. Depending on the version you buy, the Lotus Eletre can hit 62 mph in under three seconds and reach a top speed of 145mph.

While the Eletre lacks a traditional gauge cluster, it features an interior that’s both plush and luxurious. A large 15.1-inch OLED screen dominates the dashboard and can fold flat when not in use. It also features a pair of digital instrument clusters. In terms of audio, the car features an 800-watt KEF sound system. An optional 1,500-watt 23-speaker system is also available.

The Eletre is the first model in the new range of Lotus lifestyle electric vehicles. It will be built in the company’s new factory in China and is intended to serve as a foundation for a new line of luxury EVs. It’s a radical departure from the Lotus sports cars of the past and features the “carved by air” design philosophy.

The Eletre SUV is offered in three trim levels. The Eletre base trim offers 603 horsepower and 520 lb-ft of torque. The Eletre S model features configurable ambient lighting and soft-close doors. The Eletre R has additional exterior carbon fibre elements, stainless steel pedals, and a unique synthetic driving sound. The Eletre R also comes with a Track Mode that lowers the ride height and enables active aerodynamics for peak racing performance.

The Lotus Eletre is an all-electric midsize luxury crossover SUV from the brand’s parent company, Geely. The brand plans to roll out three new EVs during the next four years. The Eletre will compete against the Tesla Model X and BMW iX. It is a luxury SUV with a hybrid and all-electric powertrain.

The Eletre will launch in Europe in 2023. It will arrive in the US in 2024. Pricing starts at 89,500 pounds. Details of the car will be announced closer to its launch in each country.
